David Benoit LIVE Manila 2010

World-famous musician-songwriter and composer David Benoit is expected to take the country by storm for the fourth time in what promises to be an extraordinary performance at the PICC’s Plenary Hall on Feb. 11 at 8 p.m.

The grand pre-Valentine concert, entitled “David Benoit LIVE Manila 2010,” features the five-time Grammy nominee whose timeless music such as “Key to You,” “Promise Me A Carousel,” and “Land of the Loving,” among many others, has won the hearts of millions all around the world, including his volumes of fans in the country.

Benoit will perform with the 60-piece FILharmoniKA Orchestra to be conducted by Gerard Salonga, with special guests Bituin Escalante and jazz saxophonist Tots Tolentino.

Mari Lagdameo, chief honcho of 106.7 Dream FM says Benoit was supposed to have come last year in Manila but because of the devastation wrought by Typhoon Ondoy on the metropolis, his radio broadcast company, along with Ambient Media and Shindig Productions who are bringing the international-renowned contemporary jazz pianist to Manila, have moved the show to Feb. 11.
