ROCK OUT LIVE! AT THE OFF-ROAD AND ADVENTURE SHOW

Now how can the showcase of the coolest 4WD off-road cars be complete without the music that will make you rock your socks out and head-bang like crazy? Join us at The Off-Road and Adventure Show 2010 and rock out live to the songs of BlueBoyBitesBack, Mayonnaise, and Stonefree!

Stonefree is composed of five members: Jody Salas (bass), Billy Reyes (guitars), Miro Valera (vocals), Benson Tanoja (guitars/vocals), and Stanley Seludo (drums). This Maroon-blooded band from the University of the Philippines proved themselves as not just another wannabe band in the music industry. They grabbed the fame and owned it, and they owned it well. They started out in 2002, when their single “Baka Naman” was featured in Monster Radio’s Band Breakout. Then happened 2003 when their single “Listen” made them famous by being the theme song of ABC5’s reality show, Single, which also awarded them with OPM Song of the Year at Monster Radio. Now, the band is more than a decade old, and they seem to never lose their finesse in the realm of ear-gasm. Rock out wild and delve into their upcoming album this April 23^rd! These few days will definitely be worth the wait with these bands!

Mayonnaise on the other hand, is another story. This already celebrated band is composed of four members namely, Monty Macalino on lead vocals and guitar, Paga Manikan on lead guitar, Poch Villalon on bass and backup vocals, and Shan Regalado on drums. This alternative rock band started out in 2004 and is still rocking it out in their gigs all over the Philippines with last year as their busiest year ever! They are a big fan of the Smashing Pumpkins, thus naming their band after their song “Mayonaise.” Whoever forgot their famous song named after that hot Sexbomb dancer, “Jopay,” and their pop rendition of “Ipagpatawad Mo” originally sung by VST & Company? What other people do not know is, the song “Jopay” is actually about a bad fight with a girl Monty once loved; the current lineup of their band is actually the bands third; and their last released album was in 2008 called Tersera. Now, don’t you want to scream for more Mayonnaise in your eardrums?

BlueBoyBitesBack is a band getting closer and closer to the limelight that is composed of five members – Kyle Cayton (Guitars/Vocals), Mak Guevara (Bass), Paolo Castro (Vocals), Ian Larioza (Guitars), and Jolo Benitez (Drums). It got its name from the very blue blood of Ateneo, since one of its members is from the said prestigious University. According to them, “once you get blue, you tend to bite back,” and this may be one of the reasons they have been conquering stage after stage within these past few years. Their music gives power pop a different twang with their “edgy and unadulterated audio onslaught.” After tumultuous years since their formation in 2005, they have proved themselves worthy of the attention with their songs that seem to form a cobweb of life’s tragedies and ecstasies, hypnotizing the listener to bang their heads along to the lyrics and rhythm. Just this year, this up and coming band was nominated as 2010’s MYX Music Awards for Favorite Bandarito Performance.
