The ultimate adventure will finally conquer the Alabang Town Center this April 23 – 25 presented by Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation. Co-Presented by BBC TopGear Philippines in cooperation with The Philippine Star, Auto Review, NU 107 and Sa Mig Alabang Pub and Restaurant.   The adrenalin starts on April 23, 2010, 10A.M. at the Activity Center where The Off-road and Adventure Show 2010 exhibits the latest, and hottest SUVs in the market. See the best frontliners of the latest 4WD Vehicles in the country such as Ford, Audi, Mitsubishi and Toyota! Other Exhibitors will also be displaying their leading, quality outdoor products and services such as gadgets, apparels, and gears — all available for the nature-lover to purchase. The Off-road and Adventure Show will definitely not disappoint.

Along with these mentioned displays come the photo exhibit of one of the top-notch photographers today. Alfred Mendoza, a top known photographer, will showcase what “hot wheels” mean through his lens. Not only that, but what “off-road” is through his point of view. As photography is well-appreciated in the society today, the participant and guest will not, beyond doubt, let this pass.

As these exhibits are ongoing, the registration for the off-road test drive will also commence.

The whole day will be filled with video and photo presentations on the LED Wall and of course, the judges, during this time, will be busy determining the best among the modified SUVs in the land. Also, participants and guests can have the chance to win freebies as the hourly promo and sponsors’ activities will be taking place. 

The event will absolutely be much more action-packed with the carpark area opened up for a multifold of activities! Ever think of rock climbing or trying out the off-road SUV you were eyeing for? The Off-road and Adventure Show will let you have the experience to try driving it, or grab the passenger seat as one of the experts in off-road vehicle driving  it.

Also, the sponsors’ display of the SUV exhibits, along with the SUV judging, will continue during the following days. Judging will stop when the awarding for the Best SUV Car Display (Latest & Modified Category), Best Area Presentation, and Best Overall Display happens at 5.30P.M. on April 25, 2010. The reveal will finally let the guests know whether the bet they were checking out earlier got the trophy The companies’ pride is at stake and this will surely heat up the three-day competition.

After hiatus of several years, the country’s only event totally dedicated to cross country multi wheel drive motor show is back. Events Philippines stages the 2010 off road show featuring 4wd vehicles and outdoor lifestyle gear for the outdoor adventure in you.

What was a static display of off road vehicles from its previous years, the show will now feature a 4wd technology demonstration track that will show to the public the advantages, capabilities and also understand the limitations of multi wheel drive vehicles. It is very important to mention that this is a technology demonstration and not a 4wd obstacle course because the key is to show to the public how multi wheel drive vehicles can benefit them. This is because there is much that is unknown of the various 4wd systems now available in the market and that not all 4wd vehicles are alike.  There is a misconception in the public’s eye that any vehicle with 4wd is the same when in contrary there are various systems that have varying degrees of capabilities which are suited to every different needs that the market requires but does not understand what their needs are. In most cases what the public purchases for 4wd vehicles is overkill for their needs or short of their requirements.

The changing lifestyle of the urban dweller has dramatically shifted for the upscale urban dweller to more outdoor active lifestyles and in the end regardless of the individuals activity in the great outdoors they will still require a vehicle that will serve them even in the most inhospitable of conditions from a mountain biker who has to get to his or heir’s mountain trail to the individual who wishes to experience the great outdoors with their family.
